The Air Jordan 4 “Thunder 2023” is the modern re-release of the popular, non-original colorway of the retro basketball shoe that debuted in 2006’s “Thunder & Lightning” collection. Released alongside the Jordan 4 “Lightning” in super limited quantities on Jordan Brand’s former Jumpman23.com website in the mid-aughts, the “Thunder” was brought back in 2012 before it received another highly anticipated release in 2023. As for its design, the black-and-yellow shoe features a black synthetic nubuck base with Tour Yellow detailing beneath the mesh on the sides and tongue. Yellow “wings” lace holders contrast the black upper. A white Jumpman appears on the heel and on the tongue. A visible Air unit in the heel puts the finishing touches on the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder.” Release date: May 13, 2023
